Stinging Nettle Books is a Queer, Feminist, and BIPOC bookstore operating on Salt Spring Island, part of the traditional and unceded territories of the Hul’qumi’num and SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples. We also organize reading groups on intersectional feminism in partnership with the Salt Spring Island Public Library.

You can find a some of our books at the Salt Spring Brewery at the Southern part of the island and at the Folklore Studio Collective in Ganges.

If you make a purchase through our webstore, we can deliver your books anywhere on Salt Spring Island.
